Euro Leagues Acca
There are plenty of exciting encounters on offer across Europe and we have compiled some Acca Tips for Saturday and selected four of the best for our continental football accumulator.
Fixtures from Italy, Netherlands, Germany and Portugal make up our four-fold multiple, which pays at 9.37/1, with a potential title-decider undoubtedly the pick of the action.
Acca Tips For Saturday:
Torino to beat Empoli @ 2.10
Sparta Rotterdam to beat Heracles @ 1.60
Bayer Leverkusen to beat Union Berlin @ 1.50
Sporting to beat Benfica @ 1.86
Acca Tips For Saturday: Empoli v Torino
Four defeats in a row and no goals scored is hardly the form that Empoli boss Davide Nicola would have wanted and his side are struggling to escape the bottom three in Serie A.
Their next test sees Empoli host Torino at the Stadio Carlo Castellani and an extension to their current losing streak could be on the cards given Torino’s recent strong form.
The Bulls are unbeaten in four Serie A matches, winning their last two, and have conceded just one goal in that time.
In fact, their defensive record this season makes for thoroughly impressive reading, with only runaway leaders Inter Milan (19), Serie A giants Juventus (24) and shock European contenders Bologna (25) conceding fewer goals than Torino’s 26.
Acca Tips For Saturday: Sparta Rotterdam v Heracles
A run of three games without defeat, including two victories, has seen Sparta Rotterdam move to within two points of a Europa Conference League play-off place in the Eredivisie and victory over Heracles on Saturday could go a long way to help the Castle Lords towards their continental dream.
Heracles have the worst away record in the Dutch top flight, having accrued just eight points and conceded 31 times on their travels, and Erwin van der Looi’s side have lost their last five road games.
Rotterdam have scored four times in each of their last two league games and that clinical goalscoring form should prove to be too much for the visitors at the Sparta Stadion.
Acca Tips For Saturday: Union Berlin v Bayer Leverkusen
Leverkusen’s first Bundesliga title creeps closer with every passing week and they will be expected to move three points closer to the German crown with victory at a Union Berlin side who have struggled to put the ball in the net this season.
Union have scored just 25 league goals – only Mainz and Cologne have netted fewer times – and they failed to get on the scoreboard in the reverse fixture, which was a 4-0 drubbing at the BayArena.
Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen remain unbeaten in all competitions in what has been an unbelievable campaign for the Black & Reds and, with seemingly no end to their unbeaten streak in sight, another victory should be on the cards for the German league leaders.
Acca Tips For Saturday: Sporting v Benfica
The pick of the European ties this weekend sees the top two in Portugal go head-to-head and hosts Sporting should be confident that home advantage can help them take all three points against Benfica.
Ruben Amorim’s men have won all of their 13 league games at the Estadio Jose Alvalade and have beaten fellow top-four sides Porto and Braga without conceding a goal there this season, winning 2-0 and 5-0 respectively.
Despite being just one point behind leaders Sporting, Benfica may struggle against their title rivals, especially given that they were hammered 5-0 at Porto in a recent league outing.
