Dave Chisnall: April Adventures Await for Chizzy on Tour, March 28th 2025

Dave Chisnall

Dave Chisnall speaks to kwiff about his upcoming exhibitions, as well a busy month or so with Chizzy set for Pro Tour and Euro Tour action ahead of an action-packed April.

Dave Chisnall: Euro Tour 2025

Roger got caught up with the Heathrow bollocks last weekend, having his trip over with us out for Euro Tour 2. As it happens, he got there in time to see us beat Ricky in my opening game. He’s going through a lot at the moment, and my thoughts are with him and his family.

I played well, and didn’t think I played too bad in defeat to Ross Smith on Sunday. I averaged around 96/97 both games, with Ross playing well with 4 x 180s. My doubles still need to improve if I’m going to be successful on tour this season. There’s so many opportunities coming up, and I need to give myself the best chance of getting over the line.

Dave Chisnall: April Adventures

Before a busy April, I’m first playing an exhibition at Swansea City football club on Friday night. It’s the same group of lads I was with at Boro for a couple of days last month, and it’s a 1100 sell out. I’m replacing Gezzy last minute, so I expect to be playing the pantomime villain in South Wales! I don’t mind a bit of back-and-forth, it’s all good banter and the fans are always great at exhibitions. It’s all good fun.

Dave Chisnall: Upcoming Tournaments

There are three pair of Pro Tour events and three Euro Tour adventures in the next 5 weeks, so there’s hopefully a good chance to bank some good prize money. I’ve moved down from 6 to 10 in the PDC Order of Merit but I’ve got a few names chasing me down with the likes of Wadey, Gezzy and Snakebite not too far behind. It only takes a couple of good results to move a few places, so I know I can make some inroads with a win or two.

I’ll be heading to Leicester on Sunday evening for the Pro Tour events on Monday/Tuesday, home that night and then flying out to Riesa for this weekend’s Euro Tour action. I lost 6-2 to Richard Veenstra, despite not playing too badly, so hopefully I can end up doing a bit better at the weekend.

Dave Chisnall: Ta-Ra Trent

There was a lot of talk from Liverpool fans about Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving on a free transfer in the summer, but I don’t know what all the fuss is about. He’s been a great servant for the club for a decade, and is going to the biggest club in the world. Fair play to him for having a crack at it, and I hope he does well. There’s still question marks over whether Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk will sign new deals in the summer, in my opinion we need to try and keep at least one, if we’re looking to defend the Premier League Title next season!

Take it easy, and speak next week. Chiz x
