With 2025 nearly upon us, boxing fans are beginning to look forward to the new year, when big fights 2025 on the horizon next year.

Big Fights 2025: 5 Huge Fights for Next Year

Here, we look at five of the biggest boxing match-ups currently planned for 2025.

Big Fights 2025: Lauren Price vs Natasha Jonas (Mar 7th)

At number five on this list is a mouth-watering all-British showdown between Lauren Price and Natasha Jonas, which has just been announced. The two rivals will go head-to-head in a Welterweight world title unification bout on March 7th at the Royal Albert Hall in London after they both successfully retained their respective titles with wins in Liverpool last weekend.

Welsh star Price defended her WBA title with a blistering display against Bexcy Mateus, felling the Colombian three times before the referee stepped in in the third round, while IBF champion Jonas secured the WBC title when she overcame Ivana Habazin over 10 rounds. This is set to be among the biggest women’s bouts of the year and the eventual winner is expected to be in line for a shot at WBO champion Mikaela Mayer in an attempt to become the undisputed world welterweight champion further down the line.

Big Fights 2025: Derek Chisora vs Otto Wallin (Feb 8th)

After a fine points win over Joe Joyce this summer, British heavyweight Derek Chisora takes on Swedish fighter Otto Wallin in Manchester on Saturday February 8th. A veteran of 48 fights, Chisora will be after one more big night when he takes to the Co-op Live Arena stage as he looks to take down the dangerous Wallin. The Londoner has 13 pro defeats on his record, including three to Tyson Fury and when losing a world title bout against Vitali Klitschko in 2012, but he has claimed memorable victories over

Robert Filipovic, Carlos Takam and David Price as well down the years. Wallin has only suffered two defeats, losing to Fury on points in 2019 and being stopped by Anthony Joshua last year, with the 34-year-old having an impressive career record of 27 victories, 15 coming

via knockout.

Big Fights 2025: Joshua Buatsi vs Callum Smith (Feb 22nd)

Another all-British showdown takes place on the huge Riyadh card on February 22nd when Joshua Buatsi will face Callum Smith. This fight features on the high-quality, stacked undercard for Artur Beterbiev’s light-heavyweight rematch against Dmitry Bivol on what is set to be a mammoth night of boxing in February. The pair both want to be crowned Britain’s top light heavyweight as Smith, viewed as the slight underdog, faces the unbeaten Buatsi.

Smith got back on track after his defeat to Beterbiev in January by beating Carlos Galvan in Birmingham last month, while Buatsi has risen to prominence with 19 pro wins so far, most recently when seeing off Willy Hutchinson at Wembley in September to land the WBO interim light-heavyweight title.

Big Fights 2025: Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker (Feb 22nd)

Briton Daniel Dubois gets the chance to defend his world heavyweight title again when he goes up against former champion Joseph Parker, also on the much-anticipated Beterbiev versus Bivol bill. Dubois successfully defended his IBF belt with his dominant display against Anthony Joshua in September and he is fancied to follow up with another statement victory over New Zealand star Parker, who held the WBO title between 2016 and 2018 before losing it to Joshua.

Parker has an impressive record of 35 wins from 38 pro bouts and was last in the ring when defeating Zhilei Zhang in March to lift the WBO interim heavyweight title.

Big Fights 2025: Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol 2 (Feb 22nd)

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will meet again on February 22nd back in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in what could be another light-heavyweight blockbuster early in 2025. Their first clash in October was a classic as Russian fighter Beterbiev won a very close majority decision verdict, becoming the division’s first undisputed champion since 2002.

Beterbiev was taken the distance for the first time in his career in that memorable encounter and Bivol will now be out for revenge after putting on a fine display and only narrowly being beaten.
