The LIV Golf 2025 League will be the fourth season of the Saudi-backed tour which has shaken up the world of golf.
LIV Golf 2025: Full Comprehensive Schedule
Several of the biggest names in the sport, among them major winners Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, will once again be teeing it up for eye-watering sums of money in 14 different events all around the world.
LIV Golf 2025: Format
The LIV Golf League season will consist of 13 54-hole events, featuring 54 players, no cut, shotgun starts, a team championship, colossal prize money – and no end of loud music!
All 54 players take part in the Individual Championship. At every tournament, each player – including two wild cards, who aren’t affiliated to any of the teams – finishes with a three-round total score. The top 24 finishers at each competition earn points on the leaderboard. The player with the most points at the end of the season wins the title.
The Team Championship sees the 13 four-man teams racking up points at every event for the right to be seeded into the final, the 14th meeting of the year, this season at St John’s Resort just outside Detroit, Michigan at the end of August. Spain’s Ryder Cup star Jon Rahm goes into the year as the man who topped the 2024 money list while Ripper GC, captained by Cameron Smith, are defending the team trophy. The campaign starts on February 6 with LIV Golf Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, one of nine different countries the tour will be visiting over the coming months.
