Andy Schooler landed two winners from three bets last weekend, including a 6.6 shot. Here’s his latest Premier League preview…

Premier League Best Bets: Huge Matchday 25 Preview

Current form makes Bournemouth the bet here. They suffered a lengthy slump but have bounced back in recent weeks to collect 10 points from the last 12 on offer. Villa, on the other hand, saw their fine winning run come to a shattering end at Arsenal and they’ve struggled to put the pieces back together. It’s now two wins and three defeats in their last six Premier League matches, while they’ve picked up injuries to John McGinn and Ollie Watkins.

Premier League Best Bets: Bournemouth v Aston Villa

Junior Kroupi is firing for the Cherries – the teenager has four goals in his last eight appearances and is now averaging a goal every 98 minutes in the league this season. With Evanilson having scored in his last three home games, Bournemouth have the firepower to compete here and 2.62 seems a fair price about the hosts.

Premier League Best Bets: Burnley v West Ham

Three of the last four anytime goalscorer picks in this EPL column have now won, delivering winners at 5.2, 3.3 and 6.6. The latter was Crysencio Summerville for West Ham at Chelsea last week and while it’s not something I do very often, I can’t resist going in again here. The former Leeds man has now scored in his last four games and is in his best form in a Hammers shirt. Confidence is clearly flowing and here he should get chances to add to his tally.

Only the Hammers themselves have conceded more goals than Burnley but whereas the Clarets are now winless in 15 in the league, West Ham have won three of four and led Chelsea 2-0 last week before losing to an injury-time goal. In short, they’ve picked up massively but are still desperate for points as they battle against the drop.

The same can be said of Burnley, although they are a further five points back, 11 from safety, and with 14 games left, we’re getting to the stage where even the players will be wondering if they’ve given themselves too much to do. Summerville is 4.8 to find the net again this week and it looks a good-value price.

I did consider the aforementioned Kroupi and Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko as goalscorer options this week but both look on the short side, and while Joao Pedro (five goals in his last five) was tempting to score for Chelsea at rock-bottom Wolves at 2.6, you can never be sure if he’s going to start given the number of team changes the Blues tend to make.

Premier League Best Bets: Fulham v Everton

I remember putting up Fulham youngster Josh King for an assist at a big price at the start of the season, the theory being no-one starting at number 10 should be a double-figure price to assist. Sadly, that didn’t deliver a winner but I’m prepared to take a similar approach again here, albeit with a youngster in the opposing side this time.

Harrison Armstrong has managed to hold onto his place despite the recent return of key personnel at Everton and that says much about how the teenager has performed in recent weeks. He’s largely played in an attacking-midfield role, although he was moved to the right a bit in last week’s draw at Brighton. While he’s not managed an assist since returning to side after a loan spell at Preston, Armstrong did produce two for the Blues earlier in the campaign, while he’s also had two for England Under-19s.

He’s getting into some threatening positions around the box and if he keeps doing so, an assist will likely come. Admittedly, Everton players tend to be a tad bigger for assists for a reason, namely that the team as a whole does not score many goals. However, they’ve netted in their last seven, while Fulham are yet to keep a clean sheet in 2026 (also seven games). For those who like their bets data-based, this isn’t the best, but from what I’ve seen with my own eyes, Armstrong is rather big in this market at 7.88.
