Premier League Darts 2025: Who’s In?
There are no debutants in the Premier League this year, all eight in the line-up have previous experience of the competition. All will be chasing a first prize of £275,000. The Lukes – Littler and Humphries – dominate the outright betting. Michael van Gerwen, who just lost the final of the World Championship to Littler, is seeking to win the Premier League for the eighth time.
The Dutchman is the most successful Premier League player ever. Littler is the only other previous champion in this year’s line-up, but there are four former runner-ups included. Humphries, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price have all been in a Premier League final and get another crack this year.
Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey, both losing semi-finalists in the last World Championship, have struggled in their previous Premier League outings. Bunting finished eighth of 10 in his only previous appearance in 2015, while Dobey finished seventh of eight in 2023. The pair will hope for better in their second attempt this year.
