Conceding goals has been an issue for the Bavarian giants and it would be little surprise to see Dortmund get on the scoresheet this weekend. Value to be had in Bayern comeback
Bayern made a sluggish start last time out, with rock-bottom Darmstadt taking the lead against the reigning German champions. Tuchel’s side did respond to win 5-2 in the end, but the opening exchanges at Darmstadt showed Bayern can be got at early doors. Dortmund can also take advantage of a potential slow start from the hosts to be leading at the break, but the home side have the quality to storm back again and come out on top by the full-time whistle.
Keep an eye out for in-form Musiala
While Harry Kane has rightly been grabbing much of the headlines for his goal-scoring performances this season, Jamal Musiala has also been impressing in recent weeks. Musiala has scored in four of Bayern’s last five Bundesliga games and has found the back of the net five times during that spell.
The 21-year-old has established himself as an important figure in the Bayern attack, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in the league this season. Look to Musiala in the anytime goalscorer market to add to his tally for this season and help Bayern maintain their impressive record against their old rivals.
