Premier League Tips

After an exciting week of European club football, attention turns back to league action with Saturday Football Tips ahead of encounters in the Premier League and across Europe.

Saturday Football Tips: Huge Value Tips, February 1st 2025

We have selected four of the best bets for our Saturday football accumulator. Three Premier League fixtures and one top-flight game in Germany make up our four-fold multiple, which pays out at 24.59 if successful.

Saturday Football Tips: Trust the Toffees

Everton and Leicester are both outside of the Premier League relegation zone after wins last week, but the Toffees have been much more consistent of late and should pull further clear of the Foxes with a home win. Leicester had lost seven successive Premier League games before stunning Tottenham 2-1 in London last Sunday, but Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team face another tough task against a fired-up Everton side.

The Toffees had been showing improvement even before Sean Dyche was sacked, thumping Wolves 4-0 at home and holding Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City to draws in successive December games. They beat Tottenham 3-2 themselves under new boss David Moyes a week before City did and then picked up an excellent 1-0 away win at Brighton. With their confidence restored, Everton have looked much brighter in attack and they should see off a Leicester team who have lost seven of their 11 league away games.

Saturday Football Tips: Soaring Seagulls

Nottingham Forest suffered a shock to the system when their nine-match unbeaten run was ended by a 5-0 hammering at Bournemouth last week and they may not be able to pick up three points against Brighton either. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side climbed into the Premier League’s top three with that fantastic run, which included a 1-1 home draw with leaders Liverpool. However, Forest have now conceded seven goals since they last scored, as struggling Southampton fought back from 3-0 down at half-time in their previous match to lose only 3-2 before the meltdown at Bournemouth.

Brighton can be tricky opponents and, while they lost 1-0 at home to improving Everton last week, Albion had won three successive away games before that, beating Norwich in the FA Cup and Ipswich and Manchester United in the league. Fabian Hurzeler’s team have become draw specialists this season with 10 in 23 matches and this could be another close contest.

Saturday Football Tips: Cherries Ripe

Goals have been flowing freely in the recent matches of both Bournemouth and Liverpool and we should see another high-scoring counter when the Cherries host the Premier League leaders at the Vitality Stadium. There have been at least four goals scored in Bournemouth’s last four games after they thumped West Brom 5-1 in the FA Cup, drew 2-2 with Chelsea and then went goal crazy again with a 4-1 win at Newcastle and a stunning 5-0 home success over Nottingham Forest.

The Reds lost 3-2 in the Champions League at PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, which followed a comfortable 4-1 home win over Ipswich and they have been involved in some high-scoring road trips, including a 3-3 draw at Newcastle, a 6-3 win at Tottenham and a 5-0 victory at West Ham. Taking at least four goals to be scored in one of the day’s most attractive fixtures appeals.

Saturday Football Tips: Euro Best Bets

RB Leipzig will be keen to put a miserable Champions League campaign behind them and get back to their promising Bundesliga challenge when they visit Union Berlin. Leipzig entered the weekend in the top five of the table after last week’s 2-2 home draw with second-placed Bayer Leverkusen and Marco Rose’s team should make no mistake against struggling Union.

The club from the German capital have won only one of their last 13 games to fall to 14th in the table and, while four of their five league wins have come at home, last week’s 3-0 defeat by fellow strugglers St Pauli was a major low.
