Football fans are in for a treat on Boxing Day as every single Premier League and Football League game will be broadcast live.
The action continues right through to the New Year, so after we’ve had our fill of the new Wallace & Gromit and Gavin and Stacey on Christmas Day there is a plethora of football to keep us entertained into 2025.

Manchester City will be looking to end their terrible run with a win over Everton in the early kick off before fans have a choice of five 3pm games.
The pick of the bunch is potentially the game between Newcastle and Aston Villa, two teams challenging for Europe, in that batch of fixtures.
If you fancy a break from the Premier League, Sky Sports+ have every Football League game available and at 3pm they are also showing Charlton Athletic v Cambridge United in League One on Sky Sports Football.
In the Scottish Premiership, the Edinburgh Derby takes place at 12.30pm as Hearts against Hibernian will be shown on Sky Sports Football and Main Event, while the late game at 5.45pm sees St Mirren host Rangers on Premier Sports 1.
There are two late Premier League games on Amazon Prime as Manchester United head to Wolves for a 5.30pm kick off and the late clash takes place at Anfield at 8pm, as league leaders Liverpool take on Leicester City.

From Boxing Day 2024 to the New Year 2025: Friday 27th December
Friday is far quieter so there is a good chance to get a few Christmas films watched in the day before the football resumes in the evening.
You’ve got your pick of Jurassic Park or Hook in the afternoon, then back to football at 7.30pm for another Amazon Prime fixture in the Premier League as Brighton host Brentford.
When we reach half-time at the Amex Stadium we’ve got a slight conundrum as Arsenal and Ipswich kick off at 8.15pm. There is at least the opportunity to watch the opening exchanges at the Emirates Stadium before deciding how to spend the next 45 minutes or so before the Gunners game gets our full attention.

It’s a Serie A Saturday as Italy’s top flight takes center stage with four fixtures.
