Jockey Hector Crouch was luckless on Day 1 of Glorious Goodwood, primarily down to Amiloc’s disappointing start to the Goodwood Cup but is back with three rides on Day 2 of the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Yesterday was disappointing and hopefully we can have a change of fortune this afternoon. Dash of Azure has been tough and consistent this season, arriving here at Goodwood after a pair of runner-up finishes in listed company around Chester. She was a bit unlucky last time out but keeps improving. We’ve been a touch unfortunate with the draw (14 of 14) but she’s tough and consistent and arrives in good form.
Glorious Goodwood 2026: Mythical Composer (5.00)
Another drawn 14 is Mythical Composer (5.00) who arrives on the back of a short break after disappointing last time out at Kempton. He’s fit and well and should be raring to go on the back of a gelding operation.
Glorious Goodwood 2026: Rajeko (5.40)
He may have four duck eggs next to his name, but Rajeko (5.40) boasts a lot of talent from his 2yo days. He’s been a little bit out of sorts since a good second at listed level last March at Lingfield but has fallen down the handicap and will love today’s big field. Hopefully he goes well at a price.
